In November 2017 he introduced, during an episode of āTennis Magazineā on Supertennis tv channel, the first augmented reality app for tennis. He developed it with contributions from Mr. Gian Piero Gigli, an I.T. expert.
In January 2018, he organised two tennis classes and a conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, at Wanderers Club and Advantage Tennis Academy.
Since May 2018, he has been collaborating with ITF on the GSDF Touring Teams project as an expert of physical preparation and injury prevention. (International GSDF teams)
He was the coach and personal trainer of the ATP player Lorenzo Giustino, since June 2018 to February 2021. Gianluca brought him from n.276 in June 2018 to the best ranking of 127 in July 2019.
He published the book “The awareness gameā (āIl gioco della consapevolezzaā).
Since June 2019 to March 2021 was Coach and Physical trainer of Albert Ramos Vinolas former ATP 17. He started to work with Albert Ramos in the ranking of 98 Atp in June 2019 and helped him to come back in top 40 after 2 months.
From 2022 he is coach of Kristjan Tamm and collaborated with Allin Tennis Academy.
He brought Tamm from ATP 1400 to 645 in 2023 and started a collaboration with Estonian Tennis Federation.
Had a collaboration on all the 2024 as coach and physical trainer of Albert Ramos Vinolas former ATP 17 helping him to come back in ATP top 100 with the win of Modena Challenger
In the 2024 is speaker in the 4th World Tennis Conference organised from ATP, GPTCA and Segal Institute with the talk “From junior to pro. Injuries control and learning process methods”.
From 2024 November until 2025 May worked as tennis coach and physical trainer of Marco Cecchinato former 16 ATP.
In 2025 is speaker at the 5th World tennis conference with th talk “Bridging the gap. Where tennis coaching meets physical trainer.”
In 2025 July was speaker at the Conference: “Awareness in Leadership and Stress Management. Mental Coaching for Healthcare Executives on Self-Management in Critical Contexts”for Hospitals Directors and Surgeons
Currently is looking for a new Pro tennis player to coach and is open for new challenges and projects.
